Description

I am a Tuira-based city counsellor and a member of the Urban Environmental Committee for the City of Oulu. I am running for re-election in the municipal elections, because I want to make Oulu a more pleasant and sustainable city to live in. I want to build a city environment that encourages Oulu residents of all ages to lead an active life – from babies to grannies. I want to advocate for investments in walking, cycling and public transportation. I work as an Executive Director of a football club, and I have master’s degrees in health sciences (M.H.Sc.) and in industrial engineering and management (M.Sc. (Tech)). I am a founding member of Oulun Jalankulkijat, an association for pedestrians in Oulu, and I also serve as its chairperson. My family includes a spouse and a toddler-aged child.
