I am an energetic young engineer from Lappeenranta and I want more young people to stay here, not leave. I am originally from Russia, but I moved to Finland and especially Lappeenranta ten years ago, so I know the city well. And because I know the city, I believe that I can improve it and make it more pleasant and worth living in, especially for other immigrants and young people.

I strongly believe that the future of Finland is international and green! We should invest in attracting the foreign talents and helping them stay in Lappeenranta. We should invest in green mobility and housing by improving our public transit, cycling and walking infrastructure; we should prioritise multi-family buildings over single-family housing. We should also invest in student housing and encourage students to stay in Lappeenranta!
