Description
Hi! I'm Marc, a student of Mathematics from Aalto University. I've been living in Finland for the past 5 years, and I received my citizenship in January. I've been active in student life and politics in my student union, and I thought it's time to get active in my municipality as well.I'm a very curious and hard-working person. I love learning about the world, and I want to help in building a bright future for Espoo. I think the biggest issues are employment, especially for internationals and young professionals, protecting the environment and the pricing of public transport in Espoo.
In my free-time I like to play video games, board games, dungeons and dragons, as well as do sports. I mainly go to the gym, to swim and to run. I enjoy the outdoors as well, and I often go for hikes when I have time. During the winter I enjoy both downhill and cross country skiing.
Election goals
1. I want to make Espoo more international, and achieve that the city employs more internationals as well as communicates more also in English. City council meetings should have English interpretation.2. I want to strengthen employment for young people and internationals.
3. I want to build better bike infrastructure in the city, and also have the bike trails cleaned during the winter.
4. I want to fight for cheaper public transport.
