Hi, I'm Väinö, a 25-year-old university student from Turku, pursuing a double degree in political science (war studies) and computer science, which is how I ended up with TEK. I live in an idyllic apartment in the old town with views of wooden houses – "it's good to be here in Turku!"

Originally, I'm from Espoo, so I don't speak fluent Turku dialect yet! 😆

In addition to my studies, I work selling wine 🍷, participate in grassroots youth politics 🍀, and in my free time, I read books 📚, play video games 🎮, and design and code political simulation games ‍👨‍💻 with my friend (the pinnacle of political nerdiness, yes...).

My important values are both individual freedom 🆓 and caring for each other 🤝 (also known as social liberalism), but also Europeanism 🇪🇺, open-minded 🗽 Christianity ✝️, sustainable development ♻️, and education 🎓.
