 Goals

By the end of this training, you will:

  • Have a clear understanding of your unique skill set: What are you good at? What are your strengths? What motivates you?
  • Be able to validate your skills. Perhaps you know that you are good at something but you don’t quite have the courage to say it out loud.
  • Effectively communicate your skills to employers and people at your workplace.

Content:

What are skills?

  • In this section we discuss what competence might consist of. Where is skill and competence gained? What are my skills that I know about?

Ablities identified by others

  • Sometimes we lack perspective in understanding ourselves. In this section we will look at your skills from the perspective of others.

Verbalise

  • In this section we discuss how to put your thoughts into words! How do I convince someone that I am good at something? How do I convey them what I know but they don't (yet)?

Future

  • Here we direct our focus towards the future. What is my direction? How do I develop my skills further? What does the worklife of the future look like?

The course is open until December 31st 2025.  The course is available for both student and full members of TEK and its content is in English. To participate, you only need a computer that is connected to the Internet. The training is also accessible on mobile devices.

The material contains independent studying and exercises. You may complete the exercises independently and set your own schedule.
