Several decisions were made with regard to the elections. Among other things, it was decided that the number of student members in the Council will be increased to six. After a vote, it was decided that the Council’s term of office remains unchanged, i.e. three years. The Council also changed the election districts so that the southern election district, containing more than half of voters in the previous elections, now only consists of the Uusimaa region. The western and eastern election districts were expanded.
