TEK members succeeded in municipal and county elections

A total of 75 TEK members were chosen as councilors and 77 as deputy councilors in the municipal and county elections.

In the municipal elections, 56 candidates who were TEK members were elected as councilors and 63 as deputy councilors. In the county elections, 19 TEK members secured a position as councilors and 14 as deputy councilors. Altogether, candidates who were TEK members received over 44,000 votes in the municipal elections and about 28,000 votes in the county elections.

In the municipal elections, those who received over a thousand votes included Atte Harjanne (Green) in Helsinki, Saara Hyrkkö (Green) in Espoo, Minerva Kastehelmi (Green) in Lahti, Lulu Ranne (Finns Party) in Hämeenlinna, and Mari-Leena Talvitie (National Coalition Party) in Oulu.

The figures have been determined before the vote recount, so they may change.
