The Member+ portal of member benefits shared by all Akava associations and unions offers benefits for example on wellness services, holidays and travel, hobbies and financing. Some benefits are ongoing and others temporary. Member+ is available only in Finnish.
The service is owned by Akava’s associations member services – A-palvelut ry.
According to Kai Vavulin from the Member+, TEK members utilise the cottage rentals in particular.
– During the corona pandemic, the interest in cottage rentals has risen immensely, and we have added more cottages in our selection. A-palvelut has cottages all around Finland.
TEK members can see the available benefits on their Member+ portal after signing in. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to use your TEK member details to sign into the portal, but you must register to the site separately.
– We have received a lot of feedback about this issue, and as our digital improvement project progresses further, we will integrate the TEK members portal with Member+ services so that in the future you can sign in through the TEK portal, TEK’s digital improvement manager Teemu Lukkari promises.
If you have not yet used Member+ portal, you need to register to access the benefits. In the register page, remember to choose Tekniikan akateemiset TEK as your union ("Liitto").
