Agreement for technology industry approved, negotiation result for consulting and IT service sector reached

A negotiation result for the collective agreement of senior salaried employees in the technology industry was accepted on Friday 4th April. For the consulting sector and the IT service sector negotiation results were reached on Friday, April 4th. The collective agreements of the sectors affect thousands of TEK members.

YTN technology Industry: YTN and the Technology Industry Employers of Finland have today, April 4th, approved the negotiation result reached last night (April 3rd) for the collective agreement of senior salaried employees in the technology industry for the years 2025-27. The approved negotiation result can be read here in Finnish. The new collective agreement will be published later.

The new collective agreement for senior salaried employees in the technology industry is for three years, with the last year being a so-called option year. The salary increases for the contract period total 7.8 percent, of which general increases account for 5.0 percent.

YTN consulting Sector: YTN and the Technology Industry Employers of Finland have reached a negotiation result for the new collective agreement for senior salaried employees in the consulting sector today, Friday, April 4th. The agreement covers approximately 25,000 senior salaried employees.

YTN IT service sector: The negotiation result was reached on the evening of Friday, April 4th. Based on normal binding, the agreement covers approximately 23,000 employees. The national collective agreement for the IT service sector is also followed in most of the companies in the sector that do not have their own collective agreement. The sector employs just over 81,000 employees.

The negotiation results for the consulting sector and the IT service sector will be submitted to the administrations of the contracting parties. YTN will approve or reject the negotiation results on its own behalf at the beginning of next week. Until approval, the negotiation results are confidential.

Ban on flexibility ended
With the negotiation result, the bans on flexibility in technology industry and consulting sector have ended.
