How to become a student representative?

Do you want more power, networks and expertise? Are you eager to influence the policies of a nationally significant and influential organisation? As a student representative, you will get to experience all this. The application period for student representatives on TEK committees for 2025 is open between 14 October and 10 November.

TEK found 10 flaws in the bill on local collective bargaining – read the full list of proposed amendments

The Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland TEK believes that the starting point for extending local collective bargaining should be a balance between freedoms and responsibilities. More freedoms are now being granted, but the equal conditions for contract negotiations and contract monitoring and sanctions are not addressed or increased. The bill should be amended in this respect.

TEK and Suomen Ekonomit: Time to roll up our sleeves and make Finland more immigrant-friendly

Education- and work-based immigration is the foundation for welfare in Finland. The new government needs to work hard to ensure that the people who come here can live a full life. In June 2023, the Finnish Business School Graduates Suomen Ekonomit and the Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland TEK published a political pamphlet that offers perspectives on how this can be achieved in practice.
